I. Project Background
In 2021, a large-scale, contiguous renovation project for urban villages in the central urban area (ABO model) was launched. This project is Baoding City’s top priority for public welfare and a key infrastructure initiative.
The existing shantytowns and urban villages in the area are characterized by dilapidated buildings, high population density, a lack of supporting facilities, and significant safety hazards. There is an urgent need to improve the living environment, enhance urban functions, and alleviate pressure on the old city through unified planning, centralized resettlement, and comprehensive supporting infrastructure.
II. Project Purpose
1. Resettlement of Residents from Shantytowns and Urban Villages
To address the housing needs of original villagers and residents, all 350 units will be allocated for resettlement—one unit per household—to improve living conditions.
2. Urban Renewal and Quality Enhancement
Demolish dilapidated shantytowns and construct new high-rise residential buildings with supporting facilities, while improving road networks, utility infrastructure, green spaces, education, and community services.
3. Relieving Pressure on the Old City and Optimizing Urban Layout
Facilitating population relocation, freeing up land in the core area, and supporting industrial upgrading and balanced public services.

Standardized resettlement with complete amenities and move-in readiness, enhancing residents’ sense of fulfillment and happiness.
